Hi yesterday a sudden pain came on under my lower left rib cage witch felt like contractions was pain full masters till painkillers kicked in I Sun-Times get it a bit a night anyone no what this is please I have lupus sle

Hi Shellys22,

That’s definitley cause for a check over by the GP. I wouldn’t even wait for replies on here. I may be nothing to worry about at all but one thing lupus has taught me is to listen more closely to my body and if you are getting a terrible pain like you describe there can only be one thing to do!

Definitely worth asking someone to dip stick test your urine too while you are there if they don’t offer to do it. Ask for an MSU to be done - mid steam urine

It’s just worth being careful x

They’ll let you know MSU results while you are there and send it off for further analysis if needs be, so if that’s clear that should help to put your mind at ease a little xxx

Turns out I have angina now bloody lupus got a lot to blame on
