Hi,

Recently I have been really struggling with waking up in the mornings it’s a right battle I just feel so tired and sleepy each morning and don’t feel rested although I’ve slept a full night. Anyone else struggle with this what is your advice?

Work is a struggle too now, all I want to do is sleep!

Imzi x we all know the feeling lovely and we all feel your pain xx only advice I can give is pace yourself and get early nights. I’m 36 and at least twice a week I’m in bed at 9pm! I work full time and have a live in step child so having a plan of what I need to do each day helps me a lot. As much as it’s hard try not to dwell on how tired you are as that for me always make it feel worse, try some gentle exercise and see if that helps xx

Hi, I agree with whats already been said. Fatigue is different to tiredness though. Sometimes during the day I feel like I cant do a thing but its not that I want to sleep. Try to think about which one it is. Also you may think you are sleeping well but some people for instance who snore and are not breathing well at night have poor quality sleep. Try the exercise, because although you may feel too tired to do this , exercising your muscles and getting fresh air improves your quality of sleep. Make sure you are not too hot etc There are some good advice sheets on this site have a look.
