Pain day today

The last week at night I’ve had terrible pain in my knees , it seems to be moving through my body . When I wake up now pain is unbelievable in my arms, shoulders, legs and especially my hands. On top of that I’ve got the pain in my jaw and last few days m back been at big twtichy and the bottom. I may have to give in and pop some pain killers. Hopefully when I start the injections in 3 weeks it will help !

Your week sounds like my week, I’ve had to give in and take painkillers.

Last night the pain deep in my thighs was unbearable, I had to ask my other half to go and get my painkillers cause I felt I couldn’t walk to go get them myself.

Today I’m dosing up with maximum strength painkillers too cause I’m on a split shift at work and I can’t deal with the pain. Unfortunately the painkillers are only just taking the edge off.

I hope your painkillers kick in fast and help ease you xx

Oh no sounds horrible . I hate the pain it’s the worse . I try to avoid painkillers if I can because I have usual pain I only take them for when it’s worse than normal which it has gotten to. I’ve got some naproxen but that effects me a little bit with sickness some times .

I’m going to take some ibuprofen and it that doesn’t help I’ll take some naproxen. X

I was advised to take painkillers as soon as the pain starts - this way it doesn’t get too much of a grip and wear you down. The more tired from pain you are the less strength your body has to fight it. Would you leave your crutches at home if you had a broken leg?
