Possible jaw flare 🙄

So I normally have and always have had my jaw problem on the left . On Thursday I felt the right side of my jaw aching and now it’s Saturday and it kills. It’s opening less and less each day. I’m hoping the flare will pass soon. I don’t understand why it’s on the right side now as it’s always been on the left 🙄🙄😬😬

So sorry for you my jaw was very bad two Christmas ago felt throughly missable tramadol did not help ether was going mad could not eat only Weat a bix as I did not have to open my mouth or chew after 3days it did start to get better but try soluble paracetamol it helped me

It was a really killer of pain last night . I didn’t get to sleep till gone midnight . I rubbed some ibuprofen gel out the outside of the jaw where the pain was and it helped I think because it stopped hurting !

That’s the joys of lupus it flits from one side to the other, one joint to the other etc etc! Practically on a daily basis it just moves around!

It really threw me off having it on the right . For the past 3 plus years of having the jaw problem it’s always been on the left

Could be something else?? Teeth maybe??

It’s exactly the same pain and place as it is with the left side . I’ve had a looked at teeth seem totally fine because that’s what I use to think it was when it flares On the left

I get the jaw problem aswell from time to time. Also my jaw clicks when I get the pain too .Can be so painful when it starts.hope your pain settles soon

I’ve been rubbing ibuprofen gel on the outside and it’s been helping a bit. It settled down a bit , then I brushed my teeth and it started again . I’ve popped a painkiller and it’s alright at the moment now . I am hoping it will be better tonight and I can get some sleep for work tomorrow !
