Neck and Rib Cage Pain

Hi Everyone,

My daughter is 12 years of age and has been complaining about severe neck pain lately. She has GERD but I don’t think this has anything to do with it. She says the pain is in her neck and goes all the way down to her right rib cage and sometimes in her ear as well. It hurts much more when she swallows and breathes. The pain comes and goes. I’m not sure what to do?

Many things could be causing these problems - she needs to be assessed by her doctor.
