So... am just trying to do a bit of weeding again! My hands and wrists are not good at the mo so got both splints on but my hands just won’t work!!! Am so fed up, my head wants to do all these things and I’m trying so hard but just cannot grip enough with my hand and fingers. I look all around and see these things I want to do and I feel so annoyed.
And as for my back, I still have to get down on the floor to do the weeding then practically have to plan how I’m gonna get back up off the floor ha ha ha!! U have to laugh I suppose! I probably look like a hippo trying to get up!
Seriously it’s not much to ask! I don’t want to do much just want to use my hands!😩😥

It might have been me writing that post!! It describes exactly how I feel. We do what we can but it is hugely frustrating. I have a cleaner now. I even have a podiatrist come to do my toenails. My head is fine and thinks it can do all the things it used to but my poor old body is a different matter. I’m sure you do very well.
i'm the same but with the added problem of a stoma bag, every time I bend down to pull out the weeds I get a leak. I can't even use a walking stick because of my wrists and hands. I wish my head would shut up when it says I can do something and I find my body is unwilling to co-operate.
I have involuntary jerks of my hands and legs and now seem to be feeling weakness when trying to use my hands and fingers ie when I’m trying to do the gardening or screw or unscrew something. Feels like my fingers are weak and don’t want to work.
I’m seeing gp this week I’m worried that there’s something else and maybe I’ve got the wrong diagnosis??!! Maybe it’s not sle and aps??! Maybe it’s something else? Anyone have this or any ideas!
