Lupus and Cannabis?

Hi Guys, I'm helping a friend who's suffering from lupus Does anyone ever tried using cannabis as an alternative meds? I have read many articles suggesting highly concentrated cannabis oil can be effective for people suffering from lupus. So far northern lights strain is on top of my list. Majority of people on here are from the Uk and cannibis is currently illegal here! (Though I think it should be legilised)

I do know it's medical properties have been proved else where hence my support but maybe somebody else could help

You could try cbd oil cold pressed from the canibus plant available from Holland and Barrett

Google cbdbrothers.com for CBC oil - hemp oil without the THC. They import it from Holland and its legal. Cbd oil you get all the good ant inflammatory bits without getting high. I'm going to try it once I get my steroids down a bit more. I am in the UK. Lots of people on american support groups use it and swear by it. Good luck.

I use CBD oil to help me sleep. Other than that I've not found it terribly effective (and it's not great for the sleep either - not strong enough). I'd like to have access to medicinal grade cannabis, but that's impossible here.

As others have said CBD oil without THC is readily available, and legal, in the UK. I have tried the Holland and Barrett oil but found it tasted vile and made me gag (not good when You have severe reflux and gastritis!!!) I read a previous post on this site some time age about the ‘Truth’ brand which comes in a couple of different flavours. The lemon and mint flavours are both good. I have found I sleep better when I take it and it significantly reduces my shoulder pain. It’s a bit pricey though.

I use the mild CBD from Holland & Barrett and it helps ease aches and suits me very well for sleep - the TRUTH brand is good as is CBD brothers.

CBD oil indeed. Cannabis is pretty illegal here, too. We would be out of a deficit if it weren't. It helps with lupus, MS. Come on over and see if it would help you, too.
