I haven't posted for while, although I do read the posts daily. Currently I am post operative, recovering from a mediastinal mass removal and I am making good progress and recovery.
My question is, has any one used gelatine for gut repair or to help increase energy? I have been doing some research on gelatine, which seems to suggest it could be good for leaky gut repair and can also help with energy. They say it equivalent to bone broth. I do not have access to good butchers in my area and therefore cannot get good material needed for bone broth.
I would really appreciate any feed back from anyone who has used gelatine and weather they have found using it useful or beneficial and also which brands they found most helpful.
Thanks everyone, keep well as you can.

Yes i have tried slippery elm but it increases lupus activity in me, dont know why. It seems anything that has high levels of antioxidents will boosts my immune activity and cause increased lupus symptoms. I am very sensitive.
Yes, I am very sensitive, too, but animal products increase symptoms for me - we are all different and we all need to find what is right us - very difficult!
