Hi all sorry for winging thought I would just get that out the way I’ve had a descent run regarding lupus /mctd but over the last 2weeks I’ve felt it rearing it spiteful head still been going to work but last night it was like a sledge hammer been up since 1.30 all my muscles are”twitching “and sore my hand have never been so swelled and my joint are all sore trying to keep it to myself as my wife is worrying about my eldest daughter as she is recovering from acute anarexia and it looks like my uther daughter is taking after me looking like she has mctd which has really messed with my head as she has inherited it from my and she has had to finish work as her back and legs are so sore sorry for the rant but needed to get it off my chest

Sounds like you are really being put through the wringer, Ian. It's so tough to see one's children suffering. Fingers crossed that both your daughters recover quickly. You too x

Have you been to your gp or spoke to your rheumy nurse ? You are going through the same stress as your wife on top of this so you do need support and advice.

Yes thought that but in denial been having night swets and muscles and joint sore
