Undiagnosed...as of today

My Mother had Lupus and was diagnosed with it in her 50's. I am pretty sure I have it as well, and I am in my 50's now. I've been struggling for years and MD's put it off as "depression" and "anxiety" yeah? tell that to my 2 hands that look like balloons after itching for 2 days straight.

I got "depression" from some of my doctors before I was finally diagnosed. I think many of us with lupus get that before we are diagnosed, unfortunately. Have you even been referred to a rheumatologist or had an ANA test or other tests for antibodies?

Yes, I had a positive RA test and was referred to a Rhumatologist, who decided I needed to talk to phych. lol. Now I have another, with more symptoms..sounds like maybe trip number 2 would be a good idea.
