Colouring

I have arthritis as many of you know. My fear always is that I’ll lose skills I have. I’ve always loved colouring and writing. I got a new book for Christmas and started this on Christmas Day. This is how far I’ve gotten. I’m quite proud of how much I’ve done so far over the days.

Does anyone else do anything like colouring to relax ? I’ve always to learn to knit or crochet but I’m left handed and no one wants to teach me ha 😂

Really good colouring in and a great idea Lou. I could never keep inside the lines and was too impatient to work on it. I think this comes under mindfulness and retaining skills. I've bored everyone with my knitting. As a "leftie" if you sit in front of a "righty" you can mirror image the moves if learning to knit.

I'm rubbish at crochet because of the way I've knit for so long. I'm searching YouTube for crochet tutorials for hardened knitters who hardly use their left hand ( that's me) My goal for this year is a granny square. check back in Dec 😂

My mum tried to teach me - patience isn’t her thing though 😂

I hope the crocheting works for you, be great to see anything you manage ! 🙂

I was given a colouring book at Christmas too...as a joke because I'd had trigger finger.....but I don't have the patience.

I did try one page & found gripping the pens just made my hands cramp up!

You seem to have got hang of it LL, nothing wrong with your hands!

I’m trying to do it often as I can to keep the skill

I haven’t started it yet. I’ve competed 6/7 online training . The boss has sent off for my dbs and I have to wait for practical training and shadowing . So hopefully will start it by mid feb !

Hi Lou - how bright and lovely, they are so cheerful, they made me smile

I used to knit but my hands hurt to much so I have given that up

My other passion is photography I would be really sad if I had to give that up

Good luck with your training and shadowing I hope you enjoy it and meet some nice people on the way 🌻

Thank you !

I really like photography , I only take pics with my iPhone but I enjoy it. When I went away I got some nice pics of the volcano trip. Sadly I didn’t have this phone I have now as this camera quality is so much better .

I’ve snapped a good few pics on my old phone of my cousins wedding and other things.
