Please don't read this if squeamish, because there is quite a bit of detail. You have permission to laugh, but I'm not joking!
Tonight is the second time my toilet has been clogged by a large poo that can't get around the u bend. I'm not constipated, and the bowel movement isn't hard or painful to pass, but it has a clay like consistency that just won't flush. It passed so easily that I was surprised by the size.
The first time I attacked with the toilet brush, eventually getting it flushed, but was left with a ruined brush. This is the same, so I got some large kitchen scissors and Marigolds. The scissors couldn't slice, but managed to cut it up in sticky clumps enough to get it down. It really is like clay or plasticine.
I'll be seeing my GP about this. I have been diagnosed with eosophagul and dysmotility problems. Over the last few weeks I've had periods of diarrhoea with nasty accidents, I've eaten very little this week, with no appetite, and often getting what I eat stuck so it seems not to be able to reach my stomach, and my weight has fallen below my personal danger point (down to BMI of 15.5). Drinking plenty of fluid but have a very dry mouth.
Google searches seem to connect claylike poos to liver problems. I had a full blood work up the week before last, including liver function and have heard nothing back, which is usually a sign all is well.
Has anyone else had this problem? 😱💩 Any practical advice on the plumbing problem? I've tried the usual remedies advised for a clogged loo, but these stinkers cling on. I also have cover for plumbing problems but dread having to call them out because of a big 'un especially as I live alone and can't blame someone else. 😢
Can't make my mind up whether to post this, but oh well.
