Hey everyone!
I hope you are all having a fine day and enjoying the sunshine βοΈ. Yesterday I finally got to go for a hike. My PT finally cleared me last week, mostly because I wasn't asking permission but wanted to be out in the π². Of course there were conditions etc., but we made it 1.4 miles (2.25km) slowly and to be honest it felt like hours of PT. Today I am really feeling it and I slept 11 hours. Nonetheless I am ecstatic to have been out in nature, hiking and enjoying the pines and scents, π¦ eagles and even the barn spiders with their intricate webs.
I also have a lot of information to bring back to my neuro PT on Tuesday which he translates and sends to my specialist. It's a win-win I think. I get outside to improve my mental and physical state and bring back data for my specialist team who actually listens to me.
The photo is a woolly bear caterpillar I found on the trail. They can survive in up to -90 degrees Fahrenheit . Beauty! I encourage all of you to take a few moments to move outside and find something to appreciate, whether it's nature or art or somebody's smile!
