Strange day

Woke up feeling ok. Met a friend for lunch and felt tired all of a sudden when I was driving. I feel heavy eyed/heavy headed. A jelly like/tremor like feeling in my arms/legs/hands. I find some things hard to explain, I have not felt with it at all. I had a couple of bits to do on the way home from meeting my friend for lunch and just felt so fatigued and felt I needed to get done quickly as I felt I shouldn't be driving like this. I felt I hadn't got proper concentration while behind the wheel. Anyone have any feedback on any of this at all.

Hi Mandypandy,

I feel like you have described quite a lot recently and I’m currently having a bad flare. I sometimes feel if I don’t sit down I’ll fall down. It’s mostly on an evening but there have been occasions I’ve woken up feeling this way, it’s not nice at all as you don’t want to plan anything just in case. Who wants to spend all their free time in bed!

Just wanted you to know you aren’t alone, I’ve known about my lupus well over a year now and it still manages to get me down knowing that I can’t just do something I used to take for granted. My partner always tells me to try and stay positive, I’m just thinking one day I’ll come out of this flare and appreciate things more.

my flare has been going on for 18 months. I think I have had lupus for years. I had glandular fever when I was 18 which has been said can be a contributory factor to lupus. I was always tired at work, very sensitive to the fluorescent lighting and radiator heat where I used to sit in the office. suffered terribly with migraine. I also have tinnitus and noise sensitivity which I think those 2 are connected but been told they are not. Thank you so much for making me feel not in my own. much appreciated. x
