It does sound from your blood results that your next course of action should be to seek a referral to a rheumatologist which your GP should do for you. I would press for this if I were you so you can receive a proper diagnosis and a treatment plan.
Sorry for delay. Your dsDNA does seem high, but I am not medically trained. Have you had the chance to speak to your GP about it all. You are obviously not well and need some more help getting to the bottom of it. Make an appointment with the nicest GP at your surgery and explain all your conerns and symptoms. Ask for a Rheumatology referal. Lupus UK can tell you where your nearest Lupus UK recognised Centre of Excellence is. They can also provide names of doctors that are good with lupus in your area. If you are in England, you are entitled to a second opinion on the NHS too, so you should be able to find someone who understands what is going on with you. Let me know, if I can help any more. Do you have a good GP who understands you?
We are not medically trained here therefore we cannot comment on what your blood test results indicate. If you would like more information about the blood tests used to diagnose and monitor lupus, including dsDNA please take a look at our factsheet here - lupusuk.org.uk/wp-content/u... . Has your GP spoken to you about your results? I would follow the advice of other members here and seek a referral to a rheumatologist.
Eye and mouth related matters can be associated with lupus however it is important to remember that lupus presents differently in everybody therefore no two people will share the exact same experience.
Joint/muscle aches and pains are one of the most common symptoms associated with lupus; affecting around 90% to 95% of lupus patients. To find out what other symptoms are related to lupus you can download or request our free information pack here: lupusuk.org.uk/request-info... .
