Scalp pain

Together with eye and ear pain I also get lots of scalp pain. Feels like a nerve pulling pain. Is it normal or I should be worried?

No it isn't normal - and you need to tell your doctor. The entire catalogue of symptoms you have described over the last month would fit with a type of vasculitis called GCA except you are quite young - although that does not rule it out and there is a version that is found in young people.

Hi im experiencing scalp pain too. But it is more like burning and itchy head. Also my eyes is very dry too but not in pain. Never experienced ear pain before. It is sign that my lupus is active. You should ask your doctor about that. My doctor raise my medicine dose because of this.

I used a tiny bit of black seed oil on my scalp when i had burning pain and it really helped me . Do you use eye drops ?

Hi - have you been tested for Sjogren's Syndrome? It often comes with Lupus - it was when I showed Sjogren's symptoms that I was diagnosed with Lupus too. Don't leave it too long - get the dry eyes looked at.

I am also confused about this. I have tested my allergic and its all negative. So, im not allergic to gluten, dairy or others. Is it possible that i could be positive in sjogren?

Yes, Sjogren's goes hand in hand with Lupus for some of us. Please ask to be tested especially if you are thirsty, dry mouth and eyes. Keep your request simple with Doctor - blood tests for Sjogren's please ! They should do it if you have any form of autoimmune illness but because there are so many symptoms with Lupus they tend to stick with that. Don't don't don't scratch your scalp as I did and have a permanent small bald patch. Don't let them give you Betnovate - get tested!
