One more sleep 💉

Good morning world 💛

I'm booked in tomorrow at 9am, having a private ODG under General Anaesthetic. Yay!

Have Any of you had this procedure under GA if so how did you feel afterwards? I'm expecting a sore throat etc just any other advice/information would be most appreciated many thanks in advance.

I've had General Anaesthetic a fair few times & never been sick, was a little anxious about that- 🤞🏻I'll be fine.

The nice thing about going private is I know I'll be treated well this time round & I'll be in the best hands & most importantly I'll be treated like a human being Not just a ✅ on a clipboard.

After my horrible experience from my previous scope I'm not anxious as I'll be asleep for this one. A little nervous about what they may find but happy to go ahead (FINALLY) to see what I'm up against.

Do not worry all I can remember is the dr saying swallow then waking up staving hungry no sore throat

Thanks Ian, that's great i don't think I'll be conscious when they tell me to swallow as I'm having General Anaesthetic. THANK GOD!

I had it done under sedation but I slept through most of it - recall coming to half way and struggling and nurse voice telling me to relax but went straight back under - then came to back on ward. I didn't have a sore throat after but the struggle must have given me a nose bleed - better GA if I ever have one again! Best of luck.
