Hello numbers,
The members of this group certainly have a huge amount of experience and expertise amongst them and I am sure there will be plenty of people willing to help. As far as your specific question goes, the difficulty is that in theory, because lupus and similar auto-immune conditions can affect every system of the body, virtually any symptom you can imagine *might* be related to the condition. Headache and dizziness are also common side effects of a lot of medications. The only way of being sure what the cause of your symptoms is to have it fully checked out by a qualified medical professional.
If you post some more details of when and how it affects you, you might find people here who can share their thoughts and experiences of how to manage headaches and dizziness. x
Thank you whisperit for your reply ..i am diagnosed SLE LUPUS 3 years ago..i have ups and down with this health condition.:to be honest until now i cant accept the fact that i am affected with this decease ..its very hard for me to accept thhe situation ..they said its a inheritance but none if my family member had this kind of decease.. π my doctor gave his best to comfort me and explain to me everything in a way i could bear and understand ..but i dont talk to him often that is why i want group of people who can understand me. And im happy to be a part of this group π thanksπ
My maintenance meds are prednisone and arcoxia .. once in a while my blood pressure shoots up..i just want to know if theres a certain foods that need to avoid to maintain normal blood pressure, and foods not not trigger headache and dizziness ? Thank you in advance to all those who will reply.. more power and God bless us π
Thanks, I'm guessing you don't live in either the US or the UK? As you probably know, the standard treatment for lupus and similar auto-immune conditions here in the UK often includes hydroxychloroquine or a DMARD (the LupusUK leaflets on this site say more about this).
I hadn't heard of arcoxia before, but having googled it, I wonder if it would be a good idea to discuss the suitability of this drug with your doctor?
I'll leave it to others to add their thoughts on your questions x

Blood pressure going up can cause dizziness. I was told i had vertigo when I was dizzy and headache but the pills did nothing to help. I went to neurologist and was told it is nerves in back of neck (neuropathy)
hello i hope u r feeling better now i found that taking vitamin d3 5000 a day very helpful with the headache and aspirin as well
