Hi I'm new here. My post has nothing to do with politics. Trump is just the only thing I despise more than lupus

I was bed bound for three weeks, followed by 4.5 years of being mostly housebound. I had 5 good weeks, like amazing! Then my gf broke up with me. Couldn't swallow anything but flat gingerale for 2 days, because my throat and clavicle area were so inflamed, and I kept vomiting.

Today is better. But grief is horrible enough, but so deadly for this lupus woman. But I'm a born fighter. I fight symptoms with selfcare and support from others. Lupus doesn't really respond to fists. #AutoImmuneDisease #Lupus

Hello dishy100, Good to see you here, but sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time lately.

I do like the "warrior" talk that I read from people living with this disease, and we also need to have room for love. Maybe we are loving warriors, because that is surely the way to beat it.

Sorry, now stuck with the picture of Trump in my head again, Damn. I agree the condition can drag you down and keep you there if you let it. I am positive and try so hard to keep that way but it can be exhausting in itself. You should allow yourself a break, but keeping the positive in mind.
