Is this yet another symptom, feel like someone is crushing my ribs.

Awful, when I exert myself (by that I mean climb the stairs) my stomach muscles feel like I've done hundred sit ups. The pain makes me bend double. This has only started last couple of day. I find climbing the stairs bad enough as it is. I'm at the doctors this week another thing I have to remember. Got a letter from rheumy today. The one that was shocked when tested for Sjorgrens came back negative. He now thinks we maybe going down the fibromyalgia route. GP sent me for swallow test was told I needed to see her about results. Should be used to this by now but I still get stressed by it all. It didn't help when I received a letter saying mandatory reconsideration has been turned down and I have to appeal! It's now 3.28 am. Wonder if l'll get some sleep soon.

I am undiagnosed specialist appointment on the 22nd. I can relate lungs hurt ribs hurt back hurts, developing a nasty cough which hurts the stomach. Best luck to you, pace yourself and don't forget to BREATHE. I practice breathing for about 5 minutes a day, looking to increase to 15-20 mins a day. Also keeps you from going crazy... if you haven't already

Good luck with your assessment. I now know not knowing the system makes you very vulnerable. I think being honest is not the best policy xx let us know how you go on . It's hard to be strong when you are ill! Oh and take your husband with you, that gets you points. Unbelievable! I didn't get anymore and am now going to have to appeal. xx

You don’t have asthma by chance do you? I have severe asthma as well as lupus and the asthma makes my intercostal muscles so sore after an attack. Just a thought.
