I've had a strange tingling sensation in my hands and lower arms continually since I first noticed the symptoms that led to my diagnosis, about 18 months ago. I have no idea what they mean or what to do about it! But the pains in my fingers and hands have gone since being on steroids and hydroxy. I'll be interested in whether anyone else knows what it all means!

Yes, indeed, my symptoms have changed almost continuously. Last August, I went to the GP with shortness of breath and fleeting, sharp pains in my hands. Next, symptoms of Raynaud's appeared, joints started to swell and instead of fleeting, sharp pains, it was more like constant soreness.

Then I developed extreme fatigue and in April of this year, I was diagnosed with auto-immune disease and started on hydroxy and prednisilone. This has improved my lungs, Raynaud's and hand swelling.

But I've since developed new symptoms - regular episodes of nausea, weakness, sweats...

Looking at the range of problems that others have here, it looks as if anything is possible! It's a real roller-coaster ride.

Hope things improve for you soon x

Yes, I have the tingling in hands and numbness. I live in the US and was referred to a neurologist but haven't had a chance to see him yet. As the prior reader indicated, Lupus will give you a wide range of symptoms and attacks many parts of your body often at once. The good news is that once you get the inflammation under control, you start feeling better. Im on a biological called anakerna and a small dose of prednisone and pain Meds. I'm doing much better now since I began the biologics as I also suffer from Stills Disease-another autoimmune disease. Guys, I had many of the symptoms listed here but biologics are amazing in terms of getting these diseases under control . I also use Therapeutic grade essential oils to top off the Meds like frankincense via a diffifuser and gel capsule.
