Sorry to read what a tough time you've had with your health recently. CRP is a marker for inflammation and infection. Yours coming down shows that hospital sorted the infection!. In lupus CRP usually only raises in infection . It's a quirk of the disease that it stays low despite a flare. Wcc is white cell count that has lowered probably because of the treatment you've had. Makes you vulnerable to infection so you need to be careful. It could also be the methotrexate lowering it but they'll look at a run of three monthly tests to see a pattern. Hope that's helpful and you continue to make good progress. Misty.
misty14 has given you some helpful information below. Please be careful about interpreting blood test results in isolation though. If you ever want more information about your blood tests, it is best to discuss them with one of your medical professionals.

Hi i am also a lupus suffer and a nurse so i can shed some light on this, CRP is what we look at to monitor your infection markers and seeing as you where diagnosed with sepsis which is an systemic inflammatory response syndrome (basic terms: horrible infection that spreads very quickly unless treated very quickly) When you have an infection your WCC increases as do your white blood cells produced to fight the infection. That why they are raised on admission and they are 'normal' on discharge. Be aware SLE and reduce your WCC but yours appears normal.
Thank you all very much for the info been back to hospital today and I'm back on the methatrexate ,thought it was not doing a lot until I stopped taking it trust me it works just takes a bit once again a thanks for you reply
