As anyone ever got so emotional that you started to get body aches, n just started to get swollen hands n feet,legs, etc.? Guess what I did, someone got me upset so bad. I was crying like crazy. 😡😢

Hello. Hope you are feeling better soon. I know when I am flaring as I can cry at the drop of a hat. I have cried at GP and consultant appts which is a sure sign I am not well. I'm usually a very together person. I have pointed this out to people before but I think they don't believe me. I know stress and emotional upset is not good for lupies - so I can well believe it could have a physical knock on effect. Best wishes.

I cried on and off for a week recently. I lost my dad two months ago and from family stress, I had myself in such a terrible place physically that I could barely get out of bed. I'm still recovering. It's hard to do but keeping your stress levels down is the key to Lupies staying healthy. I find meditation the key to keeping my stress down. Unfortunately other factors and people in our lives make it impossible some times to keep that stress to a minimum. GOOD luck and hang in there.

I always know when in a flare because I just want to cry all the time and I feel irritable too. I haven't noticed physical changes yet though but there's always something going on with me and I'm still learning what's related to what.
