To start off, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who is a part of LUPUS UK!

A recent post caught my attention and hit home. I thought I was the only one who had this and, I though it was just me but, after reading the replys I found that I was not the only one and starting to put 2 and 2 together.

This Commuinty has help a lot of us (probably all of us) in one way or the other. So regardless of you issue how small or indifferent it may seem to you, it may and can help some one else.

This Commuinty has help me in so many ways. As most of you know I have to go barefoot and have been for 2 years, this Commuinty has given me encouragement, I felt out of place when I would go some where, (other than local stores they know me and what I go through) having to go barefoot. Because this Commuinty has backed me and give me encouragement it does not bothe me to go or do anything, anywhere, anytime, barefoot.

Before I often felt sorry for my self, down in the dumps, but this community is wonderful. I don't mean this in a bad way but, after reading what some of you go through, me having to go barefoot is really not and issue, it makes me realize how bad some others have it.

I hope that I can support and up lift some of you ,the way you guys have uplifted me.

I actually come to this Commuinty more now than I go to Facebook. I have been told that by me posting photos of my wife, garden, fish, etc that they like to see the photos and read the story behind them, and it makes them feel better.

I will try to do these type of post, if I can make someone smile and make their day just a little bit better, then at the end of the day that is all that counts.

Again no matter how small or big you think your issue is post and ask the rest of us. One or more of us may be going or have gone through the same thing.

Thanks again to this Commuinty

No, THANK YOU PAUL!

For all the time, the advice, and all the help you give us. This Commuinty is a God send, that people with issues like I have can help me deal with what I may be going through. Then on the same token, maybe someone is going through something I have already experienced, and maybe I can help them!

Again Paul

THANK YOU!

Thanks to you for writing as I have come fairly recently to the community (nice description by the way, a community) it helps me to know that I may understand this illness better and not bore others with my symptoms....and reading other contributions has been helpful 😊 ...will go see your tomato photos, just got three from my neighbours to grow on and hopefully in UK grow tomatoes which will encourage me to go a step closer to going back out into my over grown garden. Testing the UV abit more each day, no shorts yet....

Hi Maggielee

I said this Commuinty, it is actually more like a family! I have found friends here we have pm each other and given and gotten email address.

As you may know I am a guy, I live in the southeastern part of the U.S. In the state of Alabama.

I send photos of garden, fish, grandchildren etc, and the American country side photos. They send me photos of their life, UK country side photos. I use to travel with the company I worked for before I had to come out because of medical issues. I spent 6 weeks in Europe one time, I loved it! I loved the food! However I never got to the UK. I did go to France, Austria, and I was setting up a new plant in Kaposvar Hungray. (A small to medium village about 3 hours drive south of Budapest). The culture was so much different than here in the states.

If you have an issue do not hesitate to ask the members of this Commuinty/family. I bet there will be someone out there who has had a similar experience and or symptom.

Wishing you and your family all the BEST!

Tiras
