Lupus rash update

My lupus rash is still angry, but very lucky it's not itchy, now spread all over me, now on steroid ointment, first creams done nothing. Back to Dr in 8 days time, if no improvement there going to shuffle my Prednisolone and hydroxyquine about. Gets you a bit down now 2 months now. My neck now.

I hope you get over this soon. I know you have been battling rashes for several weeks. It appears that it is spreading. I know exactly how you feel, from my rash outbreaks. Sometimes it is like the cream and ointments don't work. I get the rashes from shoulders down to my toes. For me the rashes in private areas take the longest and are the last to go away. I don't want to seem as if I'm getting to personal but, I saw your post where the rashes started To spread and , now on your neck. Are the rashes also in private areas and your chest also?my doctor has given me 2 different creams. One is for rashes in genital area only. That's why I'm asking.

Now when I get rashes my wife has started a folder. She and I take photos and document all the rashes on every part of my body, and when they start and how long it takes for them to go away. I use them as tools for the doctors to see. One of my doctors has even started a file with notes and photos, she has also started doing this with some of her other patients as well. Yes some of the photos are of private areas by my wife and I and also photo by doctors. You may want to start and keep a file of photos of all rashes in all areas, (yes, even private areas) and keep good notes and exact dates when they start and when they go away. The records we keep may not help us but, it may help someone else down the line!
