For as long as I can remember I was up every 2 hours for the Loo. It's only since I have given up work that I'm now going 5 /6 hours. I'm beginning to think it was stress related.
Hi, inconveniently this is common. When I 1st started taking my meds, I was peeing all the time. Sometimes I wake up 4/5 times a night to pee. I have considered it might anxiety related, but after 2yrs of taking my meds it's started easing up. I still wake up at night to pee tho'. Maybe your body & mind need to get used to the meds in your system? Loved the post title, it made me giggle as I can relate. Best wishes to you x
Hi, for me it's definitely meds related - when I stop taking them for a few days I only get up about once. Can't figure out which one makes me wee though.maybe its a combination. All this weeing doesn't help with the fatigue - need toilet paper on prescription, lol. All the best xx
Hi sorry to hear I am not alone! I wonder if we could get a reduction on electric or water bill ?lol.I have been up to the loo for a wee a few times every night which doesn't help the sleep but have been informed by Rheumy that it is irritable bladder syndrome which people with Lupus and RA can unfortunately get.Tried relaxation and not drinking after 7pm( didn't help the sjogrens) by nothing helped so I shall put up with it thinking of all the lupie loo visits across the world ha ha. If anybody does find a solution pleeeeease let me know .
I get up multiple times through the night too. It's not fun is it. Doesn't help with the lack of sleep either. I look like a zombie sometimes, I've been reliably informed by one of my sons lol. I've tried everything...from taking tablets later/earlier...not drinking after 6 {that was reeeallly hard as I get such a dry mouth} and doing kegel exercises until I can't see straight lol. Nothing has worked. The next step is medication and it seems from reading this that maybe it won't work anyway. At least feeling less alone when I'm up at night weeing for England will help
By the way...this is a great post heartgirlx4
thanks for replies, im going for a examination in 2 weeks time , so watch this space
