Just found out I carnt start methotrexate until I have had c.t of lungs as breathing test mildly abnormal.could this mean if the c.t show mild abnormalities I carnt go on methotrexate.so many unanswered questions

The reason they don't want you on Methotrexate before the ct scan is probably they want clear pictures as possible of the mild abnormalities. They will probably start you on it afterwards. I hope you don't wait too long for the scan. Good luckX

Hi if you have problems with your lungs they may want to start you on some thing more suitable or they will check you again after a spell on methotrexate I have taken it for around 8 years with no trouble at all g
