Flare with a toddler

Hi,

I'm more a lurker on here, due to the fact that my lupus has been stable for the last 3 years. (Diagnosed for 7)

I'm in the middle of my biggest flare (fatigue only) in s while. I work part time as a teacher & can deal with work when feeling rubbish as I've got practise of it, but any tips/hints how to survive 2 days in the house with a toddler? (There's no one to watch him, as grandparents are on holiday!!)

Thanks in advance

Ohhhhh you poor thing. If you are up to it have a few friends over for a coffee afternoon. Extra hands and eyes would be a god send. Not sure where you are but maybe drop in child care for a day?? We have that in Canada.

I spend lots of time with my grandkids. They love to snuggle on the couch with me and read books. The too older ones (5 & 7) undestand when grandma needs a break. The toddler (16 months) is busy but loves my lap for short periods and likes 2 hr afternoon naps. I just spent two days looking after her (Friday and Saturday) and can still feel the tiredness. Couple more days and I will be fine.
