Hi tesha32,
Yes. It is unlikely that his lupus would prevent his possibility of getting you pregnant if you are having unprotected sex.
If you do not wish to get pregnant, or if your boyfriend is on immunosuppressant treatments such as Methotrexate or Mycophenolate Mofetil then it is strongly advised that you use contraception.
