I certainly do ! I have job to walk. My hips are so bad. Everything is just hurting. Even my bed is hurting my body. I have always found the weather makes the fibromyalgia bad . The fibromyalgia comes along with the lupus . Nothing seems to ease it.
That's an easy one for me to answer....yes!!! My joints hurt more, my digestive system is sluggish and I'm constantly tired. A simple cold (if there's any such thing for someone with autoimmune disease) knocks me for six. Never mind, soon be Christmas.
Its something to do with air pressure
Ohhh yes. I have Hughes Syndrome and have recently been diagnosed with Musculoskeletal Disorder so every muscle, joint and bones hurt like hell. My fingers seize up and my cold is more like flu and to top it of I can't get the flu jag this year because I'm on Clexane (which I've been on for 12 yrs)
Anyway on the bright side my visions improved......lol
Yes, I certainly do. When the weather changed a few weeks ago, it was like I was hit with a brick! It takes time for my body to adjust or something. Also damp weather can affect those who may have a fungal problem and I did, which was one severe problem that started my symptoms and the air pressure gives me headaches and blurred vision. I need to keep hydrated. I find damp conditions affects my breathing and lungs, too. However, I still try to get out in the weather to get the vit. D naturally.
I don't do well on supplements either. Exercise, too, helps the pain in the head, joints, hips, knees, etc. and the lungs because I breathe deeper, which although can hurt and is scary to start with, it does help the pain to go eventually. Adequate rest, of course, is also helpful. I find it is all about balancing the body. I also cook with herbs and these help with the symptoms and pain. Exercise helps the digestive system to work more efficiently, too, which is another problem for us all.
I do suffer more in winter with painful joints hip and back but as I have COPD I find it better for breathing can't win really
Whether it is hot or cold the weather affects my body....
This damp weather makes my joints ache...my hips become so tender l really find walking any distance difficult..adds to the discussion on what 's the weather like today....roll on spring

hello steph1,
it may be strange thing to say as the cold weather increases my pain but I prefer the cooler seasons as the warmer ones I struggle to breathe and constantly have blue tinged lips and my fatigue is million times worse too x
