Today has been mild, almost warm at 7 C [mild for Arbroath ] so what went wrong? No this isn't a black and white picture, we currently have a blizzard.

Your garden s beautiful Suzannah 😍. We had snow and hail flurries yesterday in Wales and I struggled to get warm all day. Today the sky is blue but it is still cold. Keep warm lovely xxx

I love your beautiful garden - love all the need bushes - we took the dogs for a walk this afternoon in sun then but whilst out we had hail stones - we all got soaked x

we got hailed on today on our walk. poor Mandy has very upright ears and had the hail going straight in.

hopefully it warms up here, my tomato plants I just ordered won't be happy with minus temperatures. the blackbirds who were nesting have all lost their chicks/eggs due to the cold. the rape seed plants in the fields are looking more than half dead just as they were about to flower. an increase in the price of rape oil may follow.
