How many kind of blood tests for lupus?

Is anyone know how many kind of tests for lupus: WBC, CMP, ESR, CRP, Ana, Antibodies, Sjogren's, C3&C4...and what those numbers are reflecting lupus? I have skin lupus and those are blood tests that my doctor requests every 3 months. I want to see where am I as a lupus.

Hello. Not sure how many of those are just to diagnose lupus. I'm no expert. The rheumy took 13 tubes if blood from me at first appointment and I'm still waiting for results. I know the ANA test is for lupus anti bodies and the Anti-DNA one. Lupus UK have some great books that discuss the bloods. Good luck.

I have lupus since last two years and I see my doctor every three months. My doctor advises me to give in blood test a week before I see her because she looks at my blood test and treat me accordingly. I believe the test keeps the doctor informed about whether it is affecting our other organs such as heart, kidney etc.
