My night sweats have been reduced by 80% but what can I take for the pain? I have tried all the over the counter pain killers they do little to help, Tramadol helped a little with the pain but the night sweats would keep me awake.
The pain can keep me awake but not as much as the sweating dose.

Hi kedaco, I take co codamol, for pain. To get a good night, I always take 2 with amytripline. This works for me, mostly, although when pain is bad, nothing short of a general anaesthetic will do. Lol.... Hope you find a suitable med soon.
It can depend what type of pain it is as to what could be helpful. I take Codeine when pain is severe but have nerve pain too so Amitriptyline and Gabapentin help with that. Hope you find some relief.X
Hi, I've been taking gabapentin for several years and im also on m.s.t slow release morphine then take oral morphine on a bad day so still several choices for yr doctor to give you to help wiv pain. Gaz
Just started taking Codeine and did try Amitriptyline and Gabapentin but did not like the side affects that I had, the specialist did say to me that I seem to be very sensitive to most of the tablets I have tried. thank you to everyone who replied lets see how I get on with the Codeine.
