Take part in a psychological study looking at how lupus affects quality of life

***Please note that this study is no longer seeking participants. Thank you to everybody that volunteered to take part.****

Catherine Burgess, a Health Psychology masters student at Staffordshire University, needs help with her study. She is interested in finding out whether the perceptions an individual has with regard to their lupus affects their quality of life.

She is looking for participants who are over 18 and have a diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) to take part in an online survey. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

If you’d like to help Catherine, please email her on and she will send you more information.

Hi Jen, if you send her an email to then she will be able to send you more information. I'm sure she'd really appreciate your participation.

I live in the U.S.A.,have found that the UK has much more informative sites.KUDOS UK!! Does that matter? I would definitely be interested in being a part of this.

Thanks Paul, I will be contacting Catherine. I think these kinds of studies are very important as the effects of lupus are misunderstood by both health professionals & the general population. Hopefully it will lead to better support for us in the future. X
