Its been 2 months now since i last went to see my rhuemy and ive been in the most excruciating pain which hits me like a bolt of lightning, every few days ive counted 25days so far over the last 2 months where ive been in this pain, unable to move and vomiting constantly...ive rung my consulant and the next appointment in 6th of sept. I try not the go to a & e but its coming so freqently along with my normal sle symptoms this its totally killing me slowely im scared that the way i push thro the pain and take my painkillers to shift the severe pain that one night my bodys just going to shut down, im passing out due to the pain and my kidneys feel like they are going to explode.. Oh bless you, you really are having a rough time of it, whilst I do not have the vasculitis you refer to I would suggest that if you are passing out due to the pain then you should seek medical advice before your appt on Sept 6th. Nobody should suffer like this and the medical profession have a duty of care and need to treat your symptoms as they present.

All the best willowwag, keep us posted.

I also was told I have vasculitus, the symptoms I had, Is that I would get severe migraine, with vomiting about one week in the month, loads of pain relief and medication to stop the vomiting, but I feel sometimes the cure leaves me feeling exhausted.I agree with the other response seek help, even if you have to go to A+E.I don't want to frighten you but I had a mini stroke ,but all is good now.So look after yourself you should not have to put up with that pain.Best Wishes x

Certainly seek medical advice, waiting until your next appt is far too long, maybe try ringing your consultant's secretary and explain, they may be able to see you sooner ? but don't wait get it seen to . Wishing you well :)
