Hi folks, just want to ask, how many of you are using sauna and if we are allowed? I have joined to gym lately, mainly for the swimming pool but I go to sauna sometimes. I have read some articles about. Some ppl said it's great some that is absolutely prohibited. Hmm, what to do

Sauna
Never heard of not using a sauna! Personally i wouldn't go near one as i couldn't stand the thought of being hot and sweaty and also having very itchy excema the heat would drive my skin nuts.
I haven't heard that you shouldn't but I find it irritates my skin/feel sick and dizzy/heart racing - not a nice feeling so avoid it.
Could just be me though???

I'm glad you asked this question as we have hired a ski chalet with a sauna and would love to use it. Have used it in the past with no problem but haven't heard it was a problem.
I think you need to be careful. I personally have very sensitive skin and have become very sensitive to sunlight. Last year I joined a health club and started to use the steam room. Unfortunately after a few weeks it caused a rash on my neck and scalp. I ended up using special shampoo and emulsifying ointment to wash with for about 8 weeks. The rash was red and itchy and my doctor gave me Betnovate for the rash. In total my skin took about 3 months to recover.
