Hopefully i am at the right place to share my concern regarding my pathology report following surgery. The report mention a negative margin, lymph nodes negative but postive detection on the removed pleural and also lymphovascular invasion. Even if the actual cancer nodule was only 1,2 cm, i am consider a 1B level, Lymphovascular invasion does sound very much like metastasis in the near futur. Surgeon said on my last visit that oncology dept should contact me if they think further treatment is necessary but he said he doubt very much that i will need further treatment......i am starting to wonder if he read the full report.
Thank you for sharing

Sorry to hear you have lung cancer and hope you have had good recovery from surgery. I see you live in Canada, so it would be best to make an appointment with your oncologist to discuss the pathology report.
It is understandable your concern and anxiety on reading the pathology report and it may help for your oncologist to provide some clarity for you.
Canada may have different guidelines for lung cancer treatment than the UK, sometimes adjuvant chemotherapy is used post lung cancer surgery in the UK.
I hope you hear from others in the forum and wish you the very best.
