We have been approached by the University of Edinburgh who are seeking some input from people who have had experience of lung cancer, especially those having regular scans, to their research.
What is the purpose of the study?
The study is looking in radiology departments, which aims to assist radiologists in detecting lung nodules with CT scans. The study aims to find out if this will help with the early detection and thus more effective treatment of cancer.
What would be involved?
You would be asked to take part in a 1-1 interview. The interview would take approximately 15 minutes (but can be as long or short as you like) and be held over video link (Zoom or Microsoft Teams).
It will be completely confidential to the research team.
If I am interested what should I do next?
You can either send me a private message with your email address, which we will take as your consent to share your contact email with Susan, who is carrying out the research.
Or you can contact Sue Hinder on sue.hinder@ed.ac.uk or phone 07966 699 326 to arrange a suitable day and time for interview.
many thanks
