Would you like to have a friendly chat with a UCL researcher about your experiences of being diagnosed with lung cancer?

[I'm re-posting for any recent members. Thank you again to all those who have already responded and taken part.]

Were you diagnosed with lung cancer within the last 12 months? Have your say about your experiences in the PEARL study - a research programme led by UCL and funded by Cancer Research UK.

We're interested in people's experienced of being diagnosed, and particularly people who are from Black, Asian and other minority backgrounds living in the UK. We would particularly like to talk to:

1. People who have never smoked

2. People who are current smokers

If you take part, you would have a chat with a friendly researcher on the phone, and you would be paid for your time. That's it!

If you're interested in taking part, please do comment below or email me (Georgia Black) on g.black@ucl.ac.uk or Sandra Van Os (s.os@ucl.ac.uk). Thanks!

Hi Georgia, I would be happy to help, but my timing is slightly out. I was diagnosed in September 2019. Let me know if you might still be interested in my experience.Lyndhurst

Hi there Lydhurst,

Thanks so much for getting in touch. If you could email me at the address above, I will talk to my colleague about it and take it from there.

Best wishes,

Georgia

We'll still be recruiting in January in case anyone feels like taking part! Happy holidays everyone.

Happy new year everyone! We are still recruiting to this study, if there are any new members in the group who would like to participate.
