Hi all!

Can anyone recommend a private top lung oncologist in the UK for a 2nd opinion on a diagnosis please?

We have already asked oncologists in Royal Marsden and Christie’s.

Many thanks

The Christie has a private clinic. Have you tried there?

Tom Newsom-Davis at LOC is very good.

Hi,

I think you should discuss this with your GP.

Best wishes,

All the team at the Roy Castle Helpline.

Why exactly with their GP? Often they are clueless...... So what value do you think they'd add?

I would also recommend Tom Newsom-Davis at LOC (Leaders in Oncology Care) in Harley Street, which delivers cutting edge treatments. He specializes in thoracic cancers, including lung cancer. He is consultant in medical oncology at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital too and set up and leads their Acute Oncology Unit. I have found him very good and consult with him as well as the very good consultant I am treated by from Clatterbridge.

Sending best wishes 🌻x
