further to my previous post, I’ve had my results and the cancer has returned to my lung but, i was given the positive news that I’ve been referred to The Christie hospital for chemotherapy and maybe immunotherapy. Sounds a bit daunting but im determined to give this my “all”. Got to build myself up, unfortunately I do lose weight easily so I’m trying to eat well, snack if I can. Hopefully I will hear from the hospital soon so I can get started.

Thanks to all who have posted previous replies to me it makes such a difference

Hi Sally789

I have placed our link to our information booklets on both chemotherapy and Immunotherapy below:

Sorry to read your news but pleased you're able to access the Christie and its specialists. Your approach sounds positive and eating can be tough at times so this information may also help. Several patients I know also get a lot of support from the Maggie's Centre at the Christie so that may also be worth checking out.... good luck.

I have just had results of my PET SCAN and no further surgery to be given. I have been referred to Harefield hospital for further treatment which has been put forward for lung cancer ablation . Not heard of this treatment before but hope this is a way forward. Now waiting for confirmation when this procedure will take place .
