Hello Llanigirl,

Welcome to our forum, I am very sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis, it sounds as though you have been through a lot and this will be a very worrying time for yourself and the family as a whole. Often after receiving the diagnosis of lung cancer you will have a lot of information thrown your way investigations, treatments etc., sometimes this amount of information can be overwhelming and just too much to process. The lung cancer nurse specialest ( LCNs), or cancer nurse specialist ( CNS ) are very good ways to communicate with the oncologist, they have access to your medical notes and are aware of what treatment regime you are on, they can be a great support and can speak to the oncologist for you. If you havent already make contact with the nurse as she will be happy to talk through your treatment plan and discuss any worries that you have.

Hi hunny, I did write a reply but not sure where it is!! I am so pants with this type of thing altho shouldn't be seeing as I was an office waller for over 30years!! will try and find my post for you
