Good evening everyone, many thanks for all the replies to my last post, they were much appreciated and it makes you feel that you are not alone. Cancer, whichever form it takes is a cruel disease and I feel for everyone whose life is affected. It is now 8 weeks since my darling Rab died and I still think he is going to walk through the door and give me a big cuddle. He really was my best friend and I miss him so much.
Like some of you I wonder if all the chemo and radiotherapy was worth the struggle, but who knows we just do what we think is right at the time.
Rab really enjoyed this site and he got so much comfort from you all.
Take care everyone, Diana x

So pleased to hear from you Diane. It will be comforting for you to know Rab was much appreciated and missed on this site . I am now going through my second lot of chemo when my tumour came back, hoping and praying it will give me a little more quality time with my family and friends. you sound as though you are coping, and hopefully trying to piece a life back together without him, not easy, but am sure you both discussed it and you know he wanted you to be strong, be there with your wonderful family, which are a blessing, and how we carry on with life. take care, keep looking and replying on here, they are like family,
I am not surprised that you are missing Rab so much.We only knew Rab on the website and he touched all our lives,so it must be a hundred times worse for you .I can only wish that as time goes by things might get a bit easier for you.8 weeks is not long at all for you to be grieving for Rab my heart goes out to you.Best wishes.
Thank you so much for getting back to me. So good to hear that you are cancer free, you take care and hopefully we will get some good weather for to enjoy. Love Diana x
