Can anyone tell me where I can find information on dosage? I am due to start four sessions of taxotere after cisplatin and alimta failed. Does essiac tea and vitamin c make any difference?

Hi try the other name Docetaxol , I am aware that it is given on a 3 week cycle. Not sure of dose, as dose is usually administrated accordingly to individual needs. I am hoping to start this chemo shortly for brain mets. The drug is used at times for 2nd line chemo for the lung , breast cancer and some oncologists use it for brain mets. I have been informed that it can have could results , although it is a bit harsh on side effects. I sailed through my chemo last year for the lung and haven't been on treatment since September. I am waiting for the radiotherapy to settle down and then hopefully starting this drug.l I preparing myself for a tougher ride. Although not everyone has had experienced the side effects.

best wishes
