Sharing the good news of my scan results

I'm really not sure how to use this site and I'm not real good with words. But wanted to share my good news to hopefully give someone some encouragement. In May of this year I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer, went through the four rounds of Chemo +, had cyberknife on my brain and December 2nd had another scan and it showed there was no evidence of disease. I am continuing on with Keytruda but I will tell you that I also changed my diet. Gave up coffee, dairy, drank warm lemon water every morning and juiced carrots every morning and ate mainly plant based foods. I do feel the carrots helped with the side affects of the chemo, has I had little, to no side affects. Please don't give up, stay positive. We can beat this.

Wonderful outcome so far. I’m very happy for you and your loved ones. And your words are perfect.

Thank you for sharing what worked for you. It will help others who find themselves in your shoes.

Going through treatment for one of the scariest diagnoses in the midst of a pandemic says a lot about your strength and commitment. Seriously. You rock!

thanks so much for posting your experience - always good to read positive outcomes. I found the book 'anti-cancer - a new way of life' by Dr Servan Schreiber a really helpful guide after my diagnosis to review my life. his cancer experience led to a shift in his career and after his conventional treatment he also changed diet, exercise/activity, sleep, work/life balance and felt it beneficial. keep up the good work.

Yes, I really think that has a lot to do with it. I read :Everything you need to know to cure cancer" by Chris Woollens.
