Monday I had my second 6 month follow up scan after surgery september 2016 where my upper and middle right lobes were removed. The doctor called to let me know there is still no sign of cancer. Feeling grateful for good results! Will meet with oncologist this afternoon to discuss next steps, etc but wanted to update this very supportive group.
Thanks for all of everyone's support and I'm not going anywhere. I still have much to learn and maybe a little hope here and there for others.

We’re there lymph nodes involved at all that were removed during your surgery? I ask because Dec 7 I had upper and middle lobes removed as well and they want me to do 3 rounds of chemo and radiation for prevention of a recurrence, did you do the same?
I did not have chemo or radiation after the surgery. I did have 38 radiation and 8 chemo treatments before. No lymph nodes were noted during surgery although I was staged 3a because I was told that a couple lit up on initial pet scan.
Debby1125i,m really happy for you keep it up whatever you do keep fighting. It feels good doe,snt it. you,ll make it just like me i,ve got confidence in you. Its going to stay away. you,ll be in my thoughts always. love susie
I am so glad you are doing well it sounds like we had comparable surgeries, my surgeon had to break a rib to get to my cancer.Ouch that hurt for a while. Things seem to be going well though.Just want to give a shout out to the Surgeons and the nurses. cf
