Well worth getting a second opinion!!

Presented the case to the Tumor Board and right now the tumors are stable and they suggested a scan at a minimum of 6 months, preferably 3 months for at least another year and then go to 6 months. Will need lifetime scans. Not surprised I'm on O2 24/7 and can't cheat any more. Concerned that this is my 5th cancer so want to keep a close eye on everything including the "friends" (smaller ones in both lungs) but most concerned with the 2 bigger ones. No more rads to the chest area, it has had too much already (both breasts and then lung). Would not be surprised if I went a couple years stable and then they started to grow. Would be good candidate for immunotherapy if they do start to grow. Said I can come back to her any time I feel the need considering how I feel about current doc.

Well in all well worth the time, energy and cost!!

Thank you everyone for all your support - I feel so much better with someone who talks to me!!!

Great news. Definitely worth doing. May you scans show that your tumors remain stable. Also great news that immunotherapy is an option. Thanks for sharing your news.
