Hi,
Has anybody trialled a lymphapress?
I have one being delivered this week for a fortnight and wondered what the experience has been by others?

Hello
I have one and use it every day. It definitely helps for me.
It’s important to get the right type with the guidance of your therapist. For example, a leg piece alone may not be the right solution for someone with leg lymphoedema, since some people may need the full trousers style that also pumps the abdomen and groin.
Good luck.
Yes I have tried it a couple of times. The clinic let me have it for a couple of weeks. I nearly bought one, but I was working and did not prioritise time for it. Now I am not working I may reconsider buying one.
I have the LymphaPress plus trouser garment. I use it now and then but my preferred device is my Physiopod which delivers deep oscillation therapy.
I think the LSN article about the use of compression pumps is worth reading, a little dated but still very relevant imo: lymphoedema.org/information...
Ye I was loaned one for 2 weeks. I have mild lymphoedema in both below knee legs. I found it cumbersome to handle and didn’t find it helped but am grateful for the trials
I trialled the Lympha Press and eventually purchased the equipment. It’s important you play around with the settings to get the best outcome but don’t expect immediate results as it’s a long term treatment process.
I’m in my second week of trialling Lymphapress and not noticed a lot of difference in reduction but does feel a lot softer. Have been woken up a couple of times in the night with bad cramp in my non Lymphedema leg and wondered if the pump may have caused this.
