Hi,
I have been living with Lymphodema since 2013. It began skowly in 2013 and its been a challenge but one I fight daily. I had a horrible accident in 2017 when I was walking across the floor in a friends home and the floor caved in with me causing me to be in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. Before the accident I was walking, driving, cleaning my home, visiting family and friends, going out and doing great. After the acccident I can not have knee replacement due to where the LE is so its has resulted in me having to use a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Yes I got mad and I stayed mad for a bit but I had to let go of that anger and make myself learn to live this disease. I meant so what if I am in a wheel chair, it rolls, so roll with the flow, dont allow it to rob me another minute, I have had some serious bouts with cellulitis and been hopitalized many times with it but each time it was healed and I came home with no complitations.
If you read this, I hope you know you can live with LE. Some of us have it worse than others but if you wake up each day thinking positive God will meet you half way. Please chat with me anytime.
