I woke up with one side of my face swelling. I went and had a lymphatic drainage massage. Then the swelling moved to my arms, hands and face. I went and had the lymph test and they said it wasn’t Lymphedema that I was draining properly. I have no idea what to do. Vascular cleared me, cardiology cleared me and so did rheumatology.

Does anyone have any idea why you would have upper extremity swelling and it’s not Lymphedema. Arms, hands, face swell for no reason.

Lymphoscintigraphy is the only way to find why the lymphatics are causing problems. A dermatologist should be able to organise this? Where are you based?
Hi, I have this but it started off with swelling to maybe my right cheek 1 day then my bottom lip right side on another day etc...etc...
I now have swelling in my face which also sits in my neck at times, both arms, both hands, torso, both legs, knees ankles and feet.
I apparently have tennis elbow in both elbows due to swimming.
I’m still trying to get to the bottom of all this. Sorry I can’t be of any help, however if by some amazing chance a miracle occurs and my g.p refers me to see my Rheumatologist- as I have SLE, I can maybe get to the bottom of it there.
